Welcome! My name is Maddie Woodbridge, and I am incredibly excited to be your child's teacher. This is my sixth year teaching first grade at Burns Park.  I received my Bachelor's Degree in Education from the University of Michigan with an endorsement in Mathematics. I also have my Master's Degree in Reading and Literacy with an additional certification as a Reading Specialist.

I became a teacher to be an advocate for students and to support their growth as both individuals and learners. I believe in teaching students to be tolerant, compassionate, and thoughtful individuals in addition to being readers, writers, scientists and mathematicians. I am a Seesaw Certified Educator and enjoy finding authentic ways to integrate technology into the classroom to enhance both student learning and parent communication. 

Each time I am in the classroom working with students, it reinforces my passion for this profession. I am here to support your child and family in any way I can. I look forward to a wonderful school year filled with learning and fun!
